FAQ

What is an FFL ?

A “FFL” is a Federal Firearm License.  There are currently over 58,000 FFL holders nationwide.  FFL holders are commonly gun stores, pawn shops, and retail sporting goods stores.  However, there are also many individuals that hold a FFL.  All firearms sold to individuals online must be shipped to a local FFL holder who will then transfer the firearm (via ATF form 4473 and associated background check) to the individual.

How do I arrange to have a local FFL handle my transfer?

You simply choose a local FFL from your area, have them email us a copy of their FFL at [email protected]. Please communicate with your chosen FFL prior to completing your purchase with us. You will want to ask for their approval of the transfer as well as their transfer fee. Our FFL can be found here.

What is the average FFL transfer fee?

The transfer fee varies widely among the FFL holders nationwide, the average fee tends to be between $25-$50.  For their exact transfer fee, please contact your chosen FFL directly. My transfer fees can be found on our price list page.

Can you ship my firearm direct to me at my home or office?

Only if you are in the same sate as the FFL, do a non over the counter transaction, and are exempt from background checks. If you do not meet all these criteria, then no. Generally all firearms must be shipped to a verified FFL (Federal Firearm License) holder.  The only exceptions are black powder firearms, and even then only to approved states.

How do I know if I can legally purchase a firearm?

Before you’re able to take possession of your firearm from your dealer you’ll be required to pass a background check. This is a fairly simple process. You’ll fill out the form 4473 and your dealer will call the information in to FBI NICS. Typically, while your dealer is on the phone he’ll receive one of the following responses – approved, delayed, or denied. Please check your state and local regulations as well, several states/locals have additional requirements. We use the online background checks and electronic forms to make it easier and faster for you.

Why does my Customer information have to match?

Due to firearm regulations the Customer name must be the intended recipient of the firearm, meaning no one can pick up the firearm but you–the actual purchaser.  If this information doesn’t match, your order can be delayed or canceled with fees.  Simply put, no one can accept transfer of a firearm except you, the actual buyer.

I just bought a gun from you guys and now the advertised price is less than what I paid. What’s up ?

Our website updates every 15 minutes, 24/7, with our distributors current inventory and cost. We do not price our guns manually based on our cost in each, rather we use a live download from manufacturers and distributors to set our price based on our current replacement cost. As our cost changes, the corresponding website price of each make/model will change up/down accordingly. Although our profit margin remains unchanged, our advertised prices will change frequently, sometimes several times per day.

Do you accept PayPal?

No. Paypal has an anti-2A policy and will not allow us to transact on their platform. We do accept Venmo and Cash App as long as you do not write anything gun related in the comments.

Why are the firearms shipped “within 1 to 2 weeks” of completing my order ?

Our firearms are located throughout our distributors warehouses and may not necessarily be on site physically. We have to wait to get the item from our distributors to ship it out after. Orders on items that are physically in stock ship out same day or next day depending on when the order comes through.

How much is a suppressor?

This is a loaded question. There are more than one. Before asking an incredibly vague question please answer the following questions and we can narrow down the choices along with prices. The more information you can give me, the better I can help you.

  1. What caliber or calibers are you trying to suppress? One caliber or multiple calibers?
  2. Rifle or pistol? Barrel length? Thread pitch?
  3. What do you want it to do? Mitigate gas (flow through), maximize suppression, just want the cheapest suppressor on the market?
  4. Does length and weight matter? If so how much or how little?
  5. What’s your budget?
  6. Direct thread or quick detach (QD)?

How do I purchase a silencer/suppressor or any other class III/NFA item?

A. Figure out what you want and purchase the item.

B. Purchase tax stamp ($0 fee to ATF as of 1 Jan 2026). We will help with the form and can do finger print cards and passport photos right here so you don’t have to run around town.

C. Choose how you want to file (individual, trust or corporation).

D. Finish and send paperwork (we can file it for you).

E. Wait (roughly 1-10 day wait times but could be sooner or later….basically whenever the ATF wants to approve it).

What’s the difference between an individual, trust and corporation for NFA sales?

Individual- less paperwork but only the individual on the tax stamp is authorized to possess/store the item. Others may use it but the individual must be present at all times.

Trust- You can name multiple people on the trust, but at a cost. Trusts can also be amended. Notarized copy must be with whatever individual possesses the item at the time and they must be named on the trust. A lot more paperwork as it requires every individual to fill out the questionnaire paperwork. (We have the ability to generate trusts and notarize them in house).

Corporation- This is a little easier. All we need is the articles of incorporation of the corporation/LLC and be in good standing with the Secretary of State. All officers of the corporation/LLC need to be listed and they will all need to register as well.

Is it legal to own a silencer, SBR/SBS or machine gun?

Short answer is yes. Long answer is it must be registered and a form completed on it approved by the ATF. It is when these items are unregistered that they come with lengthy prison sentences or extremely high fines.

Is there a way to own silencers or machine guns without having to go through the ATF?

Legally speaking….NO.

Do you require a special license to own or purchase class III/NFA items?

No. The only criteria is you must be 21 years of age, live in a state that allows ownership and not have any felonies (same requirements as a handgun honestly).

What states allow silencer ownership?

AL, AR, AK, AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NV, NH, NM, NC, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WV and WY.

Can I use one silencer on multiple weapons?

Yes, as long as the bore allows for the projectile to pass through. For example, you can use a silencer chambered for .308 on your 5.56 rifle, but if you have a silencer chambered for 5.56 and try to use it on a .308 you will risk serious injury, death, and damage to the firearm and silencer. You also have to take into account the pressure you are working with. While a 5.56 can fit through a can meant for a .22LR, it is not advised to do so and in many cases will void a warranty as that can was never intended to handel the pressure of a 5.56. There are suppressors that can handle it, but be sure you got the right one.

Is there a way to attach a silencer made for a .308 with a 5/8 X 24 thread on my 5.56 rifle with a 1/2 X 28 thread?

Yes, we offer a jump brake that will allow the silencer to be attached between the different sizes of threads offered on most standard barrels. Other suppressor brands such as GSL will actually include bi-lock flash hiders to make the swap easy between guns. Most suppressors can take adapters or offer muzzle devices to allow for easy swapping between firearms.

Can I use my silencer during the waiting process?

Yes, however the item must remain here and the dealer must be present when using it. I do have a private range to use as well.

Now that the eForms allows me to electronically submit form 4, what do I need to do?

First you need to apply for an eForms account at https://eforms.atf.gov/login where you will register and set a pin number. It is with that pin number and login information that you will be able to electronically sign your form 4 for submission. The process is the same, just without the paperwork, and hopefully this will also reduce wait times. We assist in setting these up in house and it is much faster. We take the guess work out of it. You will still be responsible for providing the passport photo and fingerprints on your own. We can do them electronically for you for a fee as well.

Do you guys accept gun trades and/or will you buy my used gun?

Yes. We will give cash for firearms or give you credit towards a purchase. The choice is yours.

I just received my new gun and It looks used, as if it’s been fired, what’s up?

Many new firearms are test fired at the factory. You may notice residual powder, rotation marks on revolver cylinders, residual cosmoline which sometimes appears to look like rust, etc. All firearms sold as “new” are in fact new in box as received from the manufacturer or distributor and include new manufacturers warranty….no exceptions. We do not test fire any new firearms unless specifically requested by the customer. We do test fire custom builds and gun repairs.

Do you ship to California or build California compliant firearms?

No. We do not ship or build firearms to any gun restrictive states (see store policy for complete list).

How do I break in my new barrel on my custom build?

A. Shoot one round and then clean the barrel. Do this for ten rounds.

B. Shoot three rounds and then clean the barrel. Do this for fifteen rounds.

C. Shoot five rounds and then clean the barrel, once.

D. Shoot a fouler round.

E. Shoot three rounds for accuracy.

What is cerakote?

Cerakote is a ceramic, heat/scratch/chemical resistant coating far superior to bluing, anodizing, parkerizing and nitride coatings.

What colors can you cerakote?

We have a swatch kit to help you with deciding from one of more than 160 different colors (and they add more colors frequently) or see our color chart to pick a color you want and we will apply it.

Why does it take so long to finish a cerakote job?

Applying Cerakote is a process, which if not followed can lead to poor adhesion and poor performance of the coating. We follow these steps rigorously so that you get the best job we can offer. We are also a one-man show and cannot do everything or be everywhere all at once. It also depends on how many jobs we have in front of you. We take pride in our work and only the best will suffice. It may take a little longer than you like but it is to ensure quality results.

Can I get my job done faster?

Sure, if you can afford it. We will charge $500 plus the cost of the work to inconvenience all the other customers that were ahead of you.

How much does a cerakote cost?

You can find our price list here. If you are wanting custom work, contact us for pricing, custom work gets custom prices.

Can I buy Pyrotechnics?

Our pyrotechnics require a Professional Pyrotechnic Certification (PPC) and are intended for military / law enforcement / private security training and simulation / Movie and film industry / paintball & air-soft use and similar “war activities”.

Where can I obtain a Professional Pyrotechnic Certification (PPC)?

The PPC is online, easy and FREE. You can take the course and test at www.iwa-ppc.com

Can you ship pyrotechnic devices?

Technically yes, however we do not have a hazmat certification so Big Bee Bee LLC will not ship any hazmat items, which pyrotechnics fall under. Hazmat fees are also high so our best recommendation is to find local dealers to save on hazmat fees.

I need repairs on a firearm, can I ship it or do I need to go through an FFL?

Yes you can ship it yourself. There are companies that require you to ship through an FFL, but we are not one of them, and legally, you are not required to. You can ship it directly to the gunsmith and once work is complete they ship directly back to you. You must include a copy of your license with the shipment so that we can properly log it in our books and ensure that the address on your license is current because that is where we will ship the firearm back to. If you use USPS make sure you fill out the PS 1508. UPS and FEDEX do not require extra paperwork. Always ship firearms :signature required”.

How long does it take to get a firearm repaired?

There are a lot of variables to consider.

  1. How many people are in front of you (one-man show, remember?).
  2. As long as it takes the mail to get here with the parts I order (if not on hand).
  3. What is the extent of the repair?

What if I need a gun repaired?

The best way is to bring it in and let us check it out. We suck at diagnosing problems over the phone or by text since a problem can be caused by multiple parts in certain circumstances. Most time people cant even tell us the make and model of their own gun….just bring it in so we don’t have to play 20 questions over the phone.

Do you teach courses for Mississippi’s Enhanced Concealed Carry permits?

Yes. Our course is taught by a certified USCCA instructor and the curriculum satisfies all the requirements for the enhanced endorsement on the concealed carry permit for the state of Mississippi.

Do you teach any other courses?

Yes. We also teach a basic handgun course, a counter to the mass shooter course, an emergency first aid course, children’s firearms safety and we also teach women’s only course for the basic pistol. We are also a partnered range that will do protector academy qualifications for USCCA members. We also volunteer our time to teach Hunters Education courses.

Can the online only training be used to get my Enhanced Carry permit?

No. Currently the online courses do not meet the state requirements. The state only recognizes in person training and mandates 8 hours including a range qualification and 1 hour of Mississippi law. The state certificates we are mandated to use are tied to your divers license and are serialized.
