Training Tips
- Don’t chase speed first — speed comes from efficiency. Get smooth, then fast.
- Use shot calling: know if you hit before checking your target.
- Record your runs on video to analyze grip, draw, and transition efficiency.
- Repeat this drill once a month, tracking your time and hit percentage.
Safety Reminders
- Always verify your range’s rules on holster draws and movement.
- Always treat every weapon as if it were loaded
- Keep your muzzle pointed downrange at all times.
- Keep your finger off the trigger until you intend to fire
- Know your target and beyond
- Conduct a dry run before going live to ensure smooth, safe motions.
Summary
The Precision Push balances both ends of the skill spectrum — speed under stress and precision when it counts. It’s a compact yet challenging monthly benchmark for any shooter looking to level up.
